  • CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION PROJECTS 2007-2013 

ITALY-SLOVENIA PROGRAMME


iCON
The purpose of the project was to increase the competitiveness of SME's in the entire region of the project through networking, integration, transfer of knowledge and technologies, innovation and internationalization. The project’s core was to establish connections (networks, clusters, a platform) between companies, thus enabling them to increase their own competitiveness and contribute to the general competitiveness of the territory.

INTERBIKE
The main purpose of this strategic project was to establish a network of cycling routes in the cross-border area with the accompanying infrastructure and an intermodal network, which allows a continuous travel from Ravenna to Kranjska Gora.

T. I. P.
The purpose of the project was to accelerate the functional coordination of truck-terminals and intermodal hubs in Gorizia and Vrtojba with the motorway »Villese-Gorizia-Razdrto«.

HERITASTE
The purpose of the project was to improve the provincial and regional economy competitiveness through cooperation with the tourist and culture sectors, as well as to remove the historical, cultural and social barriers existing in the cross-border area. The main goal was to develop sustainable tourism in the cross-border rural areas and to establish a connection between the products, typical local foods and the natural and cultural heritage.

SEA

The purpose of the project was to develop an innovative system that enables vulnerable people to find employment with the help of activities which contribute to the development of social economy and a joint system for social employment integration.

ALISTO
The purpose of the project was to overcome cultural barriers, recognize and evaluate the historical heritage through a synergy between historical exploration and the development of aircraft simulation technology. The project recreates the historical landscape by mapping Austro-Hungarian and Italian war aerial photographs with digital mapping of the territory.

UE-LI-JE 2
The purpose of the project was to increase the olive-growing activities and the quality of olive oil production in the cross-border area by preparing strategies for brand marketing and by stimulating the cultivation of indigenous varieties, carrying out trainings of local commissions for organoleptic assessment of oil and through other activities.

OGV
The aim of the project was to establish a stable market of local crops and products and to form a network of local producers (establishment of a new market for small agricultural enterprises, a selling point and door to door delivery, establishment of an online market).


SOUTH EAST EUROPE PROGRAMME

MMWD
The purpose of the project was to create a plan for the strategic planning of migration flows in the area of South East Europe. The main goal was to increase the capacity of the public sector for predicting and strategically managing the future consequences of current demographic changes, especially the influence of migrations on the human capital and the labour market. .

EASE & SEE
The purpose of the project was to establish innovative social entrepreneurship by creating models among social enterprises, non-profit organizations, local and national authorities and investors in the area of South East Europe.

SUSTCULT
The purpose of the project was to valorise cultural sites in South East Europe by connecting cultural heritage sites between partner countries and areas and by creating a common approach and a more efficient management of the sites.


ALPINE SPACE PROGRAMME

AlpInfoNet
The purpose of the project was to improve and simplify the availability of public transport by increasing the quality of already existing information systems and by stimulating passengers to use public transport.


IPA ADRIATIC PROGRAMME

AGRONET

The purpose of the project was to establish an international economic system in the food processing industry in the area along the Adriatic coastline. A network of logistics and distribution infrastructure was established and services were developed in the area of food processing industry.


EuropeAid PROGRAMME

WE ARE THE PLANET
The purpose of the project was to test and strengthen an innovative model of global education by including children, the young, parents, teachers and representatives of local organizations. The project focused on the conservation of the environment and biodiversity, raising awareness about climate change and globalisation.


LEONARDO DA VINCI PROGRAMME

PNPV Rev_2 Posso...Non posso...Vado!
The main goal of the project was to enable students of secondary technical schools and vocational schools an insight into the world of entrepreneurship with a presentation of the basic knowledge, which is necessary for self-employment or one's own business.

BIO TRANSF
The aim of the project was to stimulate innovation and strengthen life-long training of professionals (especially women) in the environmental sector through the transfer of good practices which were developed in Spain into other EU countries.

POLICY MAKERS FIGHTING YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT

The purpose of the project was the transfer of good practice from other countries into partner countries with the aim of increasing the institutional capacity by introducing the young into the labour market and guaranteeing their long-term employment.


INTERREG IV C PROGRAMME

ICT VN
The aim of the project was to promote the use of ICT's in small and medium enterprises (SME) as a factor of establishing a network of added value, identifying good practices, regional policies and their transfer into partner regions, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of companies (SME’s in the sectors of food processing, tourism and services).


Bilateral international development aid of the Republic of Slovenia for developing countries

WINES OF THE BALKANS AND THE ADRIATIC (VINA BALKANA IN JADRANA)
The purpose of the project was to evaluate the distinctiveness and specific characteristics of the two largest winegrowing regions in the Balkans (the Tikveš winegrowing region in Macedonia and the winegrowing region Podgorica in Montenegro) based on the analysis of the quality parameters, soil characteristics and the characteristics of the microclimate.

The operation Ambitiously into the World of Business was meant to promote entrepreneurship among the young unemployed with a higher o a high level education and to promote the creation of new jobs. The basic idea of the operation was also to offer the participants, selected through public tenders, the professional assistance and additional formation necessary to develop a business idea.

CLUSTERING OF MICRO AND SMALL ENTERPRISES AND AGRICULTURAL HOLDINGS WITH THE AIM OF INCREASING COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES
The project's focus was to stimulate the establishment of contacts between enterprises, specialized suppliers, service providers, enterprises of similar sectors and support institutions, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness on the European market.

LET'S BUY PRODUCTS MADE IN GORIŠKA (KUPUJMO GORIŠKO)

The purpose of the project was to stimulate the development, integration and marketing of typical local products and to stimulate the agricultural and complementary activities at the farms of the Goriška Region.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL AREAS (RAZVOJ PODJETNIŠTVA NA PODEŽELJU)
The purpose of the project was to stimulate entrepreneurship, competitiveness and employment opportunities in rural areas with the help of new entrepreneurial initiatives.

GORIŠKA REGION TRAVEL GUIDE

The purpose of the project was to offer the visitors of the area a smartphone application which offers information and interactive help about the sights located nearby and the complete tourist offer of the area included (cultural and natural sights, events, walking and cycling trails, ecc.).

KARST MOSAIC OF TASTES (KRAŠKI MOZAIK OKUSOV)
The purpose of the project was to increase the area's profile and to make the quality of the Karst food and wine offer more attractive. The Karst Wine Road was created through the cooperation of three Local action groups (LAG).
