Its aim is to identify the needs arising in the economic, social, environmental and spatial sector within its region, thus promoting its developement.

The mission of Regional Development Agency of Northern Primorska Ltd Nova Gorica is to:

  • promote the comprehensive development in the economic, social, environmental and spatial sectors within the Goriška Statistical Region,
  • prepare and implement the regional development programme and other common development programmes,
  • advise and promote the development in the innovation and technology sectors,
  • support local enterprise and create a modern business infrastructure,
  • obtain local and foreign funding sources,
  • be a kind and useful agency to all subjects within the region and to promote the regional development in Slovenia as well as among EU member states and acceding states,
  • improve through its activities the living standard of all who live in the Northern Primorska Region.
